Born in Miami, FL 1988.
Donelric Owens has always been fascinated by drawing illustrations and comics. Although he only experienced drawing for over 15 years, he made the decision to get out of his comfort zone and take in another medium which is photography. He graduated at Florida International University with a Bachelors degree in Art History and a Masters Degree in Visual Arts, specializing in Photography and printmaking. The intention with Donelric photographing is to navigate through a community where people of color such as himself are combating against being underrepresented and embracing belonging in a community.
